Nanon Foote, J.D.
During her time in law school, Nanon completed an internship for the Ohio Supreme Court, spent a summer session abroad at Oxford University studying the British Court System and received the Juris Prudence Award in Torts.
Nanon passed the Ohio Bar Exam in February 1993 on her first attempt and was sworn into the bar on the same day that she graduated from law school – very few attorneys have done that! Although she doesn’t currently practice in Ohio, her license is active and she completes 24 hours of continuing legal education every two years as required by Ohio law. She does not possess a license in Maine.
Nanon attended the winter sessions of the National College for DUI Defense in 2005 – 2009. As a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Nanon attended the Association’s annual DUI conferences in 2006 and 2009.
Her primary strength is communicating with clients and guiding them through the process of defending their cases. Nanon provides the perfect complement to Wayne’s love of being in the courtroom and helps the practice provide a holistic, comfortable approach to defending cases, which alleviates much of the stress associated with OUIs.
