• District Court Locations:
  
  There are one or more District Courts in each county. District Courts are courts of limited jurisdiction. The District Court cannot prosecute felony charges except for initial appearances and bail hearings. Most OUI/DUI/DWI cases are misdemeanors and begin in District Court. Jury trials are not available in District Courts. There is a very limited time in which to demand a jury trial and transfer the case to the Superior Court for that county. The courts below are grouped by county. Wayne R.
